25 July 2009. Shirley and Dawn, two of our older dogs have had to be put down. Dawn had leishmaniasis, which is too expensive for us to treat and Shirley a skin complaint that we could not treat.
The 3 pups rescued at just a few days old from the rambla at Huércal-Overa and Carmen and Cara, who were dumped in a garden have gone to SOS in Almería as nobody wanted them and P R could not take them. Lets hope they get to holland or Germany and find new homes there.
This dog was left at our kennels in a dreadful condition, with it's ribs nearly poking through it's skin and sores on it's legs. Unfortunately, there was nothing the vet could do except end it's sufferring.
